Erasmus Summer School: discussions about green marketing, Mediterranean culture and sustainability
In the second part of academic activities on 2nd Erasmus International Summer School at VERN's International University Center on the Island of Vis, students discussed about green marketing, Mediterranean culture and identity and sustainability in tourism.
Lectures and practical workshops were held by professors from VERN’ and partner universities:
- Ms. Åsa Lillhannus (Green Marketing)
- Mr. Vicko Krampus (Mediterranean culture and identity)
- Mr. Zeljko Trezner (Marketing sustainable tourism products)
- Ms. Tadeja Jere Lazanski (systematic approach and modeling of sustainability in tourism)
Students also visited Museum of the Town of Vis and a small gallery which holds works of art by the most important Croatian sculptor, Ivan Meštrović. Within the extracurricular activities they visited the Town of Komiza, Bisevo Island, Blue Cave, the highest peak Hum, Tito's cave and Castle of King George III.
